Our flagship Integrated Unit at Bhapatpur Kurmiyan, District Panna, is a working model of circular, net-zero rural enterprise. Crop residue, prunings, and biomass — material too often burned — are converted into stable biochar through controlled pyrolysis, locking carbon into the soil for decades.
The biochar is then enriched with compost from our partner gaushala’s cow dung and bio-slurry from our biogas plant to create a living, nutrient-rich biofertiliser that rebuilds degraded soils and improves water retention.
Why it matters
- Soil health: biochar and biofertiliser rebuild degraded soils and raise yields.
- Climate action: carbon is sequestered rather than emitted, and residue burning is eliminated.
- Farmer income: a new, reliable market for farm residue.
- Conservation-friendly: a clean livelihood beside the Panna Tiger Reserve buffer zone.
