Shri Shyamendra Singh

Shri Shyamendra Singh hails from Nagod in Madhya Pradesh and was raised on a farm at the edge of the forests of Central India. That early closeness to nature and wildlife shaped a lifelong commitment to responsible tourism, conservation, and eco-friendly farming.

He studied at Welham Preparatory School, Dehradun, and Mayo College, Ajmer, before working across hospitality, sales, and advertising. He went on to establish his first wildlife lodge in Panna and later co-founded Pugdundee Safaris, one of India’s leading responsible-tourism companies.

With more than 40 years of experience in sustainable wildlife tourism, conservation, community empowerment, and eco-friendly farming, Shyamendra brings to Terravya a rare combination of entrepreneurial vision and a deep, practical love for the land and its people.
